I took my kids to the Strong Children’s Museum in Rochester a couple of months ago and our hotel stay was FREE!
How?
I am a member of Choice Hotel’s, Choice Privileges Rewards Program and I LOVE it! The long and the short of it is that you get points every time you spend a night in a Choice Hotel (Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, Comfort Suites, etc.). When you rack up enough points, you can get a free night!
Oh, how do I love these hotels? Let me count the ways.
They:
- are reasonably priced
- are clean (and many of them are modern/remodeled – the one we stayed at in Rochester had a sink with a granite counter top and a flat screen LCD TV!)
- are EVERYWHERE (they even have a hotel near Greenville, PA where my family is from).
- have FREE high-speed Internet access.
- have mini-fridges and microwaves in every room! (A lot of them…not all)
- HAVE FREE BREAKFAST!!!*
I know people are starting to plan summer vacations, so I wanted to make you aware of this program. Take a minute and check it out before you book your next hotel stay!

* I don’t know if they ALL have free breakfast, but all of the ones that I have ever been to have some sort of continental breakfast-coffee, juice, milk, cereal, bagels, waffles, fruit…stuff like that. It’s sooo nice!
