It’s only been a few hours since I put up my post about 365 Days to a Wicked Great Mom and I’ve already received a handful of emails and comments from other mom’s who say they feel the same way.
Therefore, I invite you to join the 365 Days to a Wicked Great Mom program with me!
I am trying to keep this program as do-able as possible. While I would LOVE to be able to spend 1 hour of quality time with each kid, each day…I know that that’s never going to happen.
All I am trying to do is spend some ‘for real’ quality time with at least one of my kids each day. It doesn’t matter if it’s 5 minutes, or 5 hours – all that matters is that I go to bed knowing that I made one – or some – or all of them feel extra special and loved at some point during the day.
If you’d like to try this with me, please send an email to me at iamwickedcheap@yahoo.com and I’ll add you to the list. Please include your first name, last initial, number of kids, and state you live in. Please tell your friends, it would be AWESOME if we could get at least one mom from each state to join in!
AND I want to hear about the special moments that you are having with your kid(s). I have started a discussion on the I am wicked cheap! Facebook page called 365 days…look for it under the Discussions tab. Please stop by once in a while and tell us about something you did with your kid(s) that left you feeling like a Wicked Great Mom.

I want to make special memories for my kids while they are still at home to enjoy!!!
I would love to try this as well. I know the time will be gone quickly and I don't want to look back on "missed moments"
Wasn't quite sure where to post but my son (2) and I went to a baseball game yesterday to watch dad play. He lasted about 40 min. But this time instead of making him finish I let him dictate when he wanted to go home and play. Poor dad.
I love this idea, and I'm going to attempt it with you. It's amazing to me that I'm a SAHM but never truly get to spend real quality time with my girls. Tina Z Pennsylvania, 2 kids
I want to do this. I keep feeling like my kids will be grown up soon and I will regret spending so much time doing other things. I am inspired!
April P, Indiana, 2 kids
This is such a great idea! As a working outside the home mom it is VERY hard to find that special time! I need to make that a priority. Are any of the moms participating work outside the home moms? I think I will do a post about that on my blog.
BTW – count me in! It is a challenge that is worth my time and effort! Thank you for starting this!
I'm on board. Our youngest just started Kindergarten, and my goal is to have all my important work done before she and our second grader come home from school. We farm, so this might not work every day, but I am going to do my best to make it work. Glad to know there are others out there trying to do the same; it is a huge struggle!

I'm so excited to jo along with you on this journey.
Jessica, Illinois, 3 children.
Last night for our quality time, I blew tons of bubbles and my children 7 & 3 chased them all around the yard, laughing the whole time.
