365 Days to a Wicked Great Mom

Day 4 – Our Version of the ‘Flat Stanley Project’

I am on a mission to become a Wicked Great  Mom.  It’s all about the quality time (QT).

Click here to see how it all began and click here if you’d like to join me.

I have been fascinated with Flat Stanley ever since the books came out a few years back.

I wanted to sign my family up for the Flat Stanley Project  – but from what I can tell it is only for teachers and their students.

So, I decided to use the blog to start my own version of the Flat Stanley Project.

Today the ‘big kids’ and I spent our QT making small paper dolls that we are hoping will get to travel all over the country!

Little Alicia made a bride paper doll named ‘Lilly’ and Han Solo made a boy paper doll named ‘Han Solo’

I need your help!

I am looking for families who are willing to:

* Take one (or both) of our dolls on an adventure – it can be a visit to Grandma’s house, or the zoo, or whatever.

* Visit either the Flat Lilly or Flat Han Solo discussion on the ‘I am wicked cheap!’ Facebook page and tell us about the adventure our paper doll shared with your family (pics would be awesome, but not required)

* Mail the doll to the next family on the list - don’t worry, the dolls are small and can fit into a standard sized envelope

If your family is interested in being a part of this project, please send me an email at iamwickedcheap@yahoo.com.  I will need your name and address, and also please let me know if you’d  like Flat Lilly or Flat Han Solo.

PS – I sure hope people want to sign up – we are so excited to see what comes of this!

PPS–If you homeschool your kid(s), I would love it if you could find a way to work this project into your curriculum!
