Day 12 – Thanksgiving Dinner (in August)

I am on a mission to become a Wicked Great  Mom.  It’s all about the quality time (QT).

A couple of weeks ago I bought a turkey.  Today I noticed that it was about to expire.  So…I decided to cook a Thanksgiving dinner!

Yup – I took all 4 of them to the grocery store.

Then we came home and made some Thanksgiving decorations.

PS–Family Fun has an amazing selection of crafts and activites!

We printed activity place mats, coloring pages, and a set of  “What am I  thankful for ?” cards!

When my hubby got home we had Thanksgiving dinner – turkey, stuffing, cheese sauce, stuffing, cranberry sauce and corn bread.

The kids worked on their activity place mats and we filled out our “What am I thankful for?” cards - in case you were wondering,  Han Solo is thankful for airplanes and Little Alicia is thankful for her American Girl Dolls.

What did you do with your kid(s) today? Please stop by the 365 Days… discussion on the ‘I am wicked cheap!’ Facebook page and let me know!
