I am wicked cheap!

My name is Alicia and I am a 32 year old stay at home mom who had 4 kids in less than 4 years!  They are 5, 4, 22 mo., and 22 mo. (that’s right…twins…eek!).  Things are crazy around here and I love it!  When I’m asked how I ‘do it’ I tell people, “The house is a mess. I stay up late, drink a lot of coffee…and have a hardwood floor cleaner!”  My hubby is great too – he changes diapers, cleans the toy room and does the dishes…all without complaining.  

In order to get the things my family “wants”, I make it a mission to get the things we ”need” as cheaply as possible!  I ‘stretch our dollars’ by scouring the Internet for sales, free samples, coupons, giveaways and sweepstakes. I’m good at it and I enjoy doing it.  I haven’t paid for toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, or deodorant in over a year (and no, I don’t steal…it’s a coupon thing). 

I have a B.A. in Social Studies Education and a M.S. in Education.  Call me crazy, but I am back in school and am ALMOST DONE with a M.S. in Library and Information Science .  I’m hoping to get a job as a School Library Media Specialist when the twins go to kindergarten.

Fun Facts:  I have a super human sense of smell, I continue to be The Guiding Light’s biggest fan even though the show was canceled last September, and I LOVE to paint (walls not pictures).
